Cloning a WordPress website through Softxaa WordPress Manager

While manually cloning an entire WordPress website can require hard work, it’s quick and easy to do with Softxaa WordPress Manager. Here are the steps:

1. Log into HostPanel’s User Interface. The default login URL for HostPanel’s User Interface is https://domain.com/hostpanel.

   

2. Open Softxaa WordPress Manager and locate the WP installation you want to clone. Softxaa WordPress Manager is available on HostPanel’s homepage under the Tools section. When you open it, at the bottom of the page, you’ll see a list of all WordPress installations currently hosted on your account.

   

3. Open the Actions drop-down menu and select Clone. Through the same menu, you can delete the installation or change its admin password.

   

4. Select the URL for the clone installation and click Clone. From the drop-down in the popup that appears, you can choose one of the domains and subdomains currently added to your account, and if you need to situate the clone installation in a subfolder, you can use the Folder Name field. After you click Clone Softxaa WordPress Manager will automatically copy the files to your selected destination and also clone the main installation’s database.
